Betty C. Roman has been a practicing esthetician since 1987. She is among a select group of estheticians who hold the coveted international CIDESCO Diploma, the world’s highest qualification in esthetics and beauty therapy. Since 1957, the CIDESCO qualification has spread to five continents. She helped pioneer separate esthetician licensing by co-founding the North Carolina Aesthetician Association (NCAA) in 1990. In addition, she served on the curriculum committee for esthetics, and she is also a nationally certified esthetics examiner. Betty continues to host state educational symposiums for NCAA, raising the standard for education in the professional skin care industry. She opened the first day spa in Cary, North Carolina in 1991. Today she shares her training, knowledge and expertise with her dedicated staff of therapists at B Roman Skin and Body Therapy operating in two distinctive locations in Cary.
